Q1: Is looking after the benefit of your own family over all aspects considered as another form
of egoism? Why? (10pts.)

ANSWER: Looking after the benefit of your own family over all aspects is NOT a form of egoism.
Unless your "act" will benefit your own “ego” then we can say that it can be a form of egoism.
However, this act of looking after the benefit of your own family is more of altruism, which means
selfless concern for the well-being of others.

Egoism pertains to human beings who act for their own interests and desires.

Egoism is sometimes pertaining to egotism. Egoism is actually different from egotism.

Egoism is a belief that people do, or should always do things for their own benefit. Egoism is a
philosophy. On the other hand, egotism is about self-importance, or self-centeredness. Therefore,
egotism is a character trait.

Q2: Imagine that you are a legislator. What rules or laws that currently prohibit acts or
practices would you want to amend or repeal? Why? Also, are there certain acts or practices
currently permitted by the law that you want to prohibit? Why? (15 pts.)

ANSWER: If I were a legislator, the rules or laws that I’m going to amend or repeal Is, I’m going to
remove the K-12 education and bring back the old high school setup which have only 4 years of
schooling in high school, k-12 system is just wasting couple of years spending by students. They said
that Career choice will be determine if undergoes to k-12, but in fact isn’t. Many students undergoes
this system change they course after, it did not reflect what they have learned in k-12 to college
maybe some but mostly they are. Like me, I’ve been to home economics track under tech. Voc.
Strand and now taking Architecture, now if I am a legislator, I want to remove this system.

Also, are there certain acts or practices currently permitted by the law that you want to
prohibit? Why?
Open face to face classes today? For me it is not the time since pandemic has not been resolve in
addition price of all products have rises and election is coming. open face to face classes should
conduct after, students still traumatize in current situation, then suddenly they announced to have face
to face by next month. Students are not yet ready. Maybe next school year may work.
