    The New India Assurance Co Ltd has revised the minimum qualification criteria for candidates applying for the Automobile Engineer specialization in its recruitment of 450 Administrative Officers. Candidates can now have a B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech in Automobile Engineering with 60% marks or in any other engineering branch with 60% marks plus a one-year diploma in Automobile Engineering.     RECRUITMENT OF 450 ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS (GENERALISTS & SPECIALISTS) (SCALE-I)

    CORRIGENDUM

    Please refer to the detailed advertisement REF NO: CORP.HRM/AO/2023 dated 27.07.2023 for the captioned
    exercise. The Minimum Qualification criteria for 'Automobile Engineers' specialization has now been revised as
    follows:

    B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech in Automobile Engineering with min 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwBD)


    Or
    B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech in any branch of Engineering with min 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) together with
    Diploma (at least one-year duration) in Automobile Engineering

    Candidates who have already completed registration as per earlier criteria need not re-register. Their earlier
    registrations will be treated as valid.

    Note: All other terms and conditions mentioned in the advertisement REF NO: CORP.HRM/AO/2023 dated
    27.07.2023 remain unchanged. Corrigendum, if any, on this advertisement will be issued only in the Recruitment
    section of Company’s website https://www.newindia.co.in/portal/readMore/Recruitment.
