Homework: Second and third conditionals

Objective: The student is able to recognize the context which he/she must talk about
imagine present and future situations, or to express the past consequences of an
unrealistic action or situation in past.

Writing Activity

Complete the second conditional sentences:

1. If I won the lottery, I would buy a bigger house.
2. If I had only one day to live, I wouldn't let a single moment go by without telling
people that I love them, that I love them.
3. If I were famous, I would give away houses.
4. If I were the president I would help the children of the countryside,
5. If I were an animal, It would be the fish to know the bottom of the sea
6. If I couldn’t speak, I would write notes to communicate

Activity: Prepare the answers for the following questions:
1. What would you have done if you had been the leader of the country during the
covid -19?

Hubiera protegido a las personas de escasos recursos

It would have protected low-income people.

2. What would your second choice for a university or degree subject have been? How
would your life be different now if you had done that instead?

Mi segunda opción de carrera hubiese sido ingeniera industrial en politécnico gran

My second career option would have been an industrial engineer at the Gran Colombian
Polytechnic, it would have saved me money and would have been more

Nada sería diferente porque Dios tiene tiempo y sus obras son perfectas

Nothing would be different because God has time and his works are perfect

5. How would your country be different if someone different had won the last election?

Si se hubiera elegido a alguien mas transparente y no manchada su hoja de vida seriamos

un país mas organizados y confiables

If someone more transparent had been chosen and his resume had not been stained, we
would be a more organized and reliable country.

6. If you could change one thing about your body or personality, what would it be?

I would change my cold sincerity and I would be more conpassive to say things.

7. What would you do if you knew that the world was going to be hit by a comet and
destroyed in one week?

I would forgive God for what was wrong and preach to more people
8. How would you have made … a success rather than a failure?

9. What things could make you emigrate?

I would leave the country a bad government like the one now

10.What would you do if you saw a UFO?

I would rebuke him because he is not a UFO but a demon.
