Oral presentation: Animal described in the story

There is a particular animal that has a substantial impact on the story. The whole development
of the main character centers around a particular animal. The animal plays a significant role in
the story of “horned toad” because of how the story centralizes around the animal. The animal
itself that is described in the story is the name of the story, the horned toad.
The horned toad is described as the big lesson that the main character learns. For instance, the
main character had a horned toad that he was playing around with the horned toad then he
found the horned toad dead on the road but instead of leaving him there, he learned to put him
where he found it originally. As the text says, “We must return him to his own place," she
explained, and we trooped, my eyes still clouded toward the back of the vacant lot” This
explains how they are going to the horned toad back where they found him, in the vacant lot.
