In the process of re-establishing a private practice in The Woodlands. Continuation of teleconference QA work with long term care facilities in Denver as well as support of a small number of psychotherapy patients. 2008 - 2010 Attending psychiatrist at Haven Behavioral Senior Care psychiatry unit in Thornton and before that in the same position at the Northvalley gero- psychiatric unit. Chose to resign effective August 2010 in order to focus on referrals for psychiatric care of patients in ALFs and LTC facilities in Denver and Boulder 2008 - 2011 Attending psychiatrist at LTAC unit Northvalley Hopital in Thornton. 2007 - 2011 Private psychiatric office practice for the treatment of patients with depression, anxiety, pain syndromes, PTSD etc with medication and psychotherapy and acting as consultant to Drs. Heitler and Geller. 2006 - 2011 Psychiatric consultant for Pinon Management and their twelve nursing facilities in Denver, Evergreen and Boulder after a move from San Antonio to Genesee Park September 2005. 2006 - now Acting as consultant and head of psychopharmacology review services to fifteen LTC facilities in Denver to assist them in medication compliance and patient care improvement issues. These reviews are conducted on a monthly basis. 1997 - 2005 Psychiatric consultancy to nursing homes in Nixon, Stockdale, Seguin, New Braunfels, San Antonio, Jourdanton and Pleasanton. In the four years before moving to Denver attended at thirty-one facilities (nursing homes, assisted living centers and residential treatment centers) in Comal and Bexar counties. Maintained a psychotherapy practice for long-

term reconstructive psychotherapy for patients with depression, psychosomatic disorders, pain syndromes and personality disorders. Performed in-patient consultations as requested by internists, nephrologists, and other disciplines at North East Baptist Hospital. 1997 - 1999 Medical director, Community Health Resources PHP in San Antonio. 1996 - 1997 Medical director, Tree of Life PHP in Lytle TX 1993 Return to San Antonio and re-establishment of a general psychiatry practice with emphasis on rural and outpatient psychiatry,

1992 - 1993 Sabbatical on Bainbridge Island WA, devoted to writing, and a small scale psychotherapy and corporate psychiatry practice. 1984 - 1992 Conducted a large and actively managed general adult psychiatric practice, mainly office based but with consultation-liaison functions at NEBH and other local hospitals in NW San Antonio. Practice consisted in full-time psychotherapy for middle-aged and elderly adults as well as medication management. 1988 -1991 Head of Psychosomatic Medicine Unit at HCA Hillcountry Hospital. 1982-1984 Administrative, general medical and psychiatric care of inmates at Bexar County Correctional Center in San Antonio under the disrection of John Sparks, M.D. Medical Director. Served internists, family physicians and surgeons as consultant and treating psychiatrist for patients with emotional illness requiring individualized care in outpatient, inpatient and hospital settings. Cared for severely disturbed and suicidal patients in inpatient facilities. On staff at Village Oaks Regional Hospital, Laurel Ridge and Baptist System Hospitals. 1985-1991 Medical director of Stress Management Clinic, San Antonio. Consultant at Laurel Ridge Hospital for psychosomatic medicine issues. 1989-1992 Established and directed Greenspoint Day Hospital in joint venture with Laurel Ridge Hospital. Supervised admission and treatment of patients and directed staff activities. 1979-1982 Completed psychiatric residency at UTHSC in San Antonio 1963-1979 Practiced family medicine in Oakville, Ontario, with full range of professional activities including obstretical and surgical care.

PUBLICATIONS, SEMINARS AND MEMBERSHIPS 1983- 1995 Wrote bi-weekly column on executive health issues for San Antonio Business Journal and its sister publications in Austin and Seattle. Wrote column on biotechnology companies and their product pipeline. Gave numerous public education seminars and presentations on stress, psychiatric illness, relaxation training, and clinical hypnosis in Canada, Mexico, Texas, and Washington. While in family practice, community involvement included teaching stress management and smoking cessation programs through the Halton County TB&RD Association. Involved in projects with UTSA, Baptist Hospital System, Valero Oil Co, and other organizations, implementing stress reduction, productivity and absenteeism programs. After receiving classical atelier training at the Colorado Academy of Art has been drawing and painting with exhibitions at several galleries in Boulder, NYC, Denver and San Antonio. Works are in private collections in Paris (France), San Antonio, Denver and San Miguel de Allende (Mexico). Produced several training tapes and CDs to assist patients in stressmanagement.
