PREFACE Workshop Instructions

These Workshop Instructions for the CC 501 Vi-

bratory Roller show the hydraulic components,
hosing and hydraulic circuit diagrams for the four
different systems; traction, vibration, steering and

brakes.
The opening and working pressures of the W2-10244-1 En, September 1991
various systems are also stated (however the
working pressures may vary depending of working
conditions), together with simple definitions of the
hydraulic symbols.

Valid for S/N *610*001* - *610*098* &

*609*10502* -

WARNING

WARNING - Personal safety may be involved.

Except for the standard hydraulic filters, there are

special cleaning filters (6 µm absolute) with two differ-
ent contamination capacities P/N 92 99 27 (8H, large)
and 92 99 28 (4H, small) to be used for a limited period
of time only. See also document T-10228-2.

PRESSURE SETTINGS
WARNING
DO NOT CHANGE ANY PRESSURE SETTING IN
THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS.
TO AVOID PERSONAL INJURIES, ALL PRES-
SURE SETTINGS MUST FOLLOW DYNAPAC
SPECIFICATION. ALL ADJUSTMENTS MUST BE
CARRIED OUT BY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL ONLY.

Pressure settings, new components, all values ±10%

at operating temperature and higher than 1500 rpm:

Traction System Charge relief

with forward & reverse lever in neutral ........ 2.0 MPa
• S/N *610*001* - *610*044* ....................... 2.6 MPa
with forward & reverse lever in stroke ......... 1.9 MPa
• S/N *610*001* - *610*044* ....................... 2.4 MPa

Forward & reverse relief

(above charge pressure) .............................. 35 MPa

Normal working pressure

(depending on rolling resistance) ............ 10-20 MPa

Vibration system Relief pressure

second after vibration is switched on) .......... 14 MPa

Normal working pressure

(depending on working condition) ............. 8-12 MPa

Steering system Relief pressure

(to be measured in the excess
end stroke) ................................................... 14 MPa

Normal working pressure

(depending on working condition) ............. 8-12 MPa

Brake system Release pressure

(fully released)............................................. 1.5 MPa
