This Service Bulletin is to inform you of the procedures for when the battery is depleted for a vehicle with
the push-button start function.
When a battery is depleted and the battery is recharged or an engine jump-start is attempted, the engine
may not start. Procedures for starting the engine in such a case are provided below.

When Battery is Depleted for Vehicle with Push-Button Start

Function
1. Engine start operation procedures
(a) If the vehicle has not been used for a long time, the DC CUT fuse may not be installed. Check
that it is installed.
(b) If the shift lever is not in the P position, move it to the P position.
(c) Turn the engine switch off.
(d) Open and close the driver side door.
(e) After performing the procedures above, perform the engine start operation.
