I am delighted that we can issue clubs information before the end of this term to help with your

post-summer logistics. Booking will open on Friday 1 September once the databases are
synced to the new academic year!

Next Term, Autumn 2023, we are offering lots of new clubs as well as some joint with Broomwood
Boys.

Clubs will run for a total of 9 sessions, from Monday 18 September to Thursday 30 November.
There will be no clubs over half term – weeks of 16 and 23 October.

Clubs continue on from the school day with collection at 1815 from the Upper School (unless
otherwise stated).

If no year group is stated, the club is open to all. Red indicates joint with Broomwood Boys.

Please note there needs to be a minimum of 8 participants for a club to run.

LAMDA: run by Jane Cameron at ACT Drama. Year 4 classes will be during the school day and
Year 5-8 will be run as an after-school club. More info to follow.

Monday Clubs
Year 6-8 Lemon Wedge Film: Have you ever fancied becoming a film director? If so, this club is for you!
We will have great fun news reporting and writing scripts, creating characters, acting and filming using
props and a green screen. The children will also learn filming techniques by directing, sound recording and
shooting - getting hands on with broadcast quality kit. Lemon Wedge Film Club, £145.

Year 4-6 Masterpiece by Numbers: Do you like animals? This new club is a perfect way to relax and prove
to yourself that you can create a masterpiece without having to draw! You may choose your design, and
watch it come to life each week. Mrs Bentley will be there to help you along the way while we listen to
music and get creative. Mrs Bentley £110

Multi-Sports: Multi-sports will give pupils the opportunity to try a range of different ball-based sports. It
will allow pupils to learn new rules and skills. There will be a variety of sports played including football,
rugby, handball, lacrosse and volleyball. This club will encourage pupils to play against their peers in a
friendly, fun environment and it will hopefully spark a new interest. There will be a sport for everybody!

Year 8 CrossFit (Co-Ed): A fantastic but also challenging way to get in tip top shape. Crossfit is a fun, high
intensity circuit workout incorporating many new skills and using elements of strength, endurance, speed,
flexibility and gymnastics. Come and join down at the gym opposite Wandsworth Common Station. Miss
Ewen, £170. Pick up 6pm at the CrossFit Gym

Shoebox Theatre (Set Design & Creation): What is your favourite play or musical? Would you like to design
and build a model of the set for that show (like actual theatre set designers do). Then bring your ideas and
creativity along and make your own Shoebox Theatre! Mrs Grimshaw £110

Year 4-5 Cooking: An exciting opportunity to learn some amazing cooking skills. Camilla is a Leiths trained
chef and she is passionate about delicious food! You will be making some amazing recipes that you will be
able to take home with you. Mrs Conybeare-Cross, £145.

Fun Dance (Ballet, Jazz and Tap): Whether you are a beginner or have some dance experience, this club is
for you. Learn the correct techniques whilst taking part in fun and energising routines. This is a must for
anyone with an interest in Theatre and/or considering Drama Scholarships – the start of your journey as a
Triple Threat performer! Also, looks great on Senior School applications! Miss Charley £110

Tuesday Clubs

GLEE Club: ALL ARE WELCOME! Come along and learn the vocals and choreography for really fun songs
(Pop and Musical Theatre). Also, looks great on Senior School applications! Miss Charlye £110

Year 6-8 Gymnastics : The children will be taught a variety of gymnastics skills, as well as build their
confidence and resilience. They will also be able to achieve various badges and certificates throughout
the year following the British gymnastics proficiency awards scheme. Miss Boardman, £110.

Year 4-5 Lemon Wedge Film Club: See Monday’s Club details. Lemon Wedge Film Club, £145.

Art: Come and refine your art skills, learn new techniques, be inspired by a new artist, or just let your
creative energy flow! Practice using a range of materials; from paints, pastels, charcoal, clay, and mixed
media. Create wonderful masterpieces you'll be proud of! Miss Hirons £110.
Touch Typing: Typing’s Cool teaches formal typing skills up to 40 words per minute, using correct fingers
and posture. Beginners, improvers and advanced typists are warmly welcome. We mix formal technique
with games and challenges to make learning fun and effective. £145.

Year 7-8 Debating: As well as looking good on a CV, debating is a collection of life skills that will travel
through with them into adulthood. We will be honing critical thinking, research skills, improvisation,
confidence, public speaking, making an audience laugh. We will start by using games and challenges to
focus on building our skills before moving on to formal debates where the children will be debating in

All Year Groups Karate: A fantastic opportunity to learn a brand-new skill with Sensei Lavender. Karate is a
Japanese Martial Art meaning “Empty Hand”, which teaches defensive body techniques. Karate is not only
a means of unarmed self-defence; it is also an exciting sport. For students however, some of the most
important advantages are a growing confidence in their own abilities, discipline, and respect for others.

Netball Skills and Drills: Come and really hone your netball skills. The group will be divided into two and

Thursday Clubs

Early Morning Run Club with Northcote Lodge: Boost your day with an early morning run/circuits session

Year 5-6 Debating: As well as looking good on a CV, debating is a collection of life skills that will travel

Year 4-6 Cypher Coding Club: children will learn to code through the Scratch platform. The children will be
working through incrementally harder content each week and will be introduced to new programming
concepts as they go along. Towards the end of the term, children will design and develop their own Pac-
Man style game from scratch. Cypher Club. £145

Tik Tok Dance & Fitness: Energetic and fun way to keep fit. Do you enjoy trying to learn TikTok dances, but
can't quite get it right? We can learn some fun dance steps together! Try out lots of dance styles with
Miss Mellor – former GB gymnast and dance instructor. £110.
