Dear Sir/ Madam,

RE: Appointment Letter for the Proposed Residential development in Ruiru: -

Ruiru/Mugutha block 1/6759

We wish to inform you that after the rigorous tendering process, your firm has been awarded the
Architectural and the lead Consultancy work for the above mentioned project

Based on the contract, the Consultant will be engaged by Client within the scope of the Project in order to
carry out Architectural services and fulfil all works as per annexed roles and duties.
This Contract shall become effective upon signature and entry into force of the main Contract.

The Consultant has to complete the necessary investigations, studies and reports in accordance with
the Clients requirements and within the periods specified.
The Consultant is responsible for upgrading of sub-standard services, if any, at his own cost. The
Consultant shall be available for discussion with the Client if required by the client.

Not to arrange for or accept any fringe benefits from third parties within the scope of his activities for
client’s name.
To observe laws and customs of the location /district of assignment
The Consultant will remain liable for his services to the value of this contract.

He is obliged to attend to queries as well as all required corrections and additions to obtain a final
approval by the Client to the extent of Works as per the agreed terms

Modification of and supplements to this contract must be made in writing.

This agreement can be terminated by either party in writing by giving a notice period of 30 (thirty)
calendar days.

Domicile and place of jurisdiction is Kenya.

The contract is exclusively subject to the Laws of the Republic of Kenya.

Kindly sign and return to us a duplicate copy of this letter confirming your acceptance of the
appointment and the terms and conditions of engagement.
