A. INTRODUCTION
GEOPRO GEOTECHNICAL AND Materials Testing Company, was officially registered in
August 2006, right after its organization it takes over the supervision and operation of JSR
GEOTECHNICAL QUALITY CONTROL CORPORATION (JSRGQCC) A DULY ORGANIZED
CORPORATION AND IN OPERATION FOR THE LAST twenty FIVE (25) years since its organization
in march 1983. Its Primary Staff was composed of highly qualified and experience technical
men.

In the span of over twenty five (25) years since JSR GQCC officially formation and
establishment, its growth could be considered as conservatively remarkable. The number of
clients which patronizes JSR GQCC has steadily increase enabling the company to acquire
additional equipment and laboratory apparatus to meet and accommodate the requirements of
its numerous clients, particularly in the geotechnical and quality control works demanded by
the two largest American bases in the Far East; namely; Clark airbase in Angeles City, Pampanga
and Subic Naval base in olongapo City, and other government agencies such as NHA, NIA, NPC.
DOTC, NGCP and the Department of Public Works and Highways.

B. SCOPE OF CAPABILITY
Most of the senior members of the professional staff are holders of degree in Civil Engineering
and on earth sciences while the support staff is composed of highly skilled technitians with
many years of experience in soils and materials testing, resource evaluation inventory and
massive exploration and instruments properly maintained at all times.

GEOPRO is a team of specialist rendering service in the broad requirements of Civil

Engineering on both horizontal and vertical analysis. Its significant role is to resolve foundation
and earth structure problems through sound application of tested theoretical concepts and
effective practice of its knowledge of the physical behaviour of the earth material.

Services rendered by GEOPRO include, but not limited to the following:

Evaluation of soil and rock properties.

Analysis and prediction of behaviour on earth materials.

Development of design and construction recommendations.

Consultancy.

Scope of professional services is divided into four major areas of responsibilities:

Engineering Analysis and design.

Subsurface Exploration.

Field and Laboratory Testing.

Construction Consultancy and Quality Control Services.

While project Execution is going-on, the senior members of the company regularly coordinate
with the principal of its clients, so that technical information and consultancy requirements are
properly attended to immediately, thereby creating an atmosphere of rap pot between the two
companies (GEOPRO and Clients).

GEOPRO plans each investigation according to the specific needs of the project. Free exchange
of information with the client is encouraged when the approach and scope are being
established. The end product of design analysis is presented in a standard report form. Great
emphasis is placed on clear and concise reporting with specific conclusions and
recommendations.

Laboratory and field testing of earth materials and foundation components take place during
the vital data gathering phase of Geotechnical engineering is applied to design. Laboratory
Testing operation at our Central Laboratory utilizes modern equipment and method for
performing routine soils and materials testing.
