NARRATIVE REPORT ON NATIONAL DISASTER RESILIENCE MONTH

In line with the celebration of National Disaster Resiliency Month 2021 with
the theme, “Tamang Pamamahala’t Kahandaan at Pagtutulungan sa Sakuna at
Pandemya’y Kalasag ng Bayan”, from July 1 to 31 2021, in compliance to
Executive Order No. 29 signed by the President which aims to increase the disaster
resilience of every Filipino especially on natural and man-made hazards for better
appreciation of the governments disaster preparedness program. Macamot
Elementary School launch different activities regarding the said event to highlight the
goal of the Disaster Risk Reduction Management advocacy of the Philippines that is
safeguarding of communities from the adverse effects of different hazards,
calamities and pandemic to promote sustainable development.

The essence of month-long observance is to promote public awareness and

preparedness on natural hazards and disseminate information on the steps to be
undertaken to mitigate the adverse effects of such hazards.
