The sculpture above is one of the example of social function as it commemorates the important
person in the University. It expresses social description that show his distribution to the
University’s history.

Inclass Task 2 – Functioning an Art

Non-functional Earphones

My plan is to make this non-functional earphones into DIY recycled bracelets.

First, separate the wire or string from the ear buds and tip of the
wire that used to connect to the phone.
 Second, cut the wire into half with the same length. Secure in
a nail or pencil attached to a wood that can be used
conveniently in creating a knot.

4 Upon creating a knot, the line 4 was put behind the line 2

and 3 and bring it forward. Do the same on line 1 but
reversely from the line 4.

Continue the process until it reaches the desired length of

the bracelet.

Lastly, attached a lobster lock on the other end. Then,

there you have it. The DIY recycled bracelet out of non-
functional earphones has been made.
