Place eyes between rounds 19 and 20, leaving 16 holes between them. 1st eye is placed before
the 2nd increase. Count 16 holes after the first eye and place the 2nd eye. If you want the
sunken eye look, do not place the backs of the eyes on until round 32.
TIP! You may have to adjust the eye placement depending on yarn and hook size you use.
Place nose in between the eyes, between rounds 4 and 5. Before you place the back of the
nose, add some pink blush on the front of the nose. Refer to pictures on pg. 4

Now for the eyes. Stuff the head well. Cut a long piece of yarn and remove the eyes. Place the
needle in the hole where the first eye was and thread the needle into a hole next to the eye
hole. Go back and forth between each eye hole repeating the process from the first eye. Pull
slightly on the yarn after going through each hole. Do this about 3 times on each side until you
reach the look you want. Follow the pictures on pg. 5-6 for help. There is also a youtube video I
have for extra help on this process.

To place the backs of the eyes you will need to remove most of the stuffing to place the
washers on the eyes then re stuff it.

Assembly

Head and Body:

1. Pin the head and body together for extra support while sewing
2. Sew the head and body together. You may need to add more stuffing while you sew.

Sweet Oddity Art 8

Ears:
1. Pin the ears onto the head approximately between rounds 25 and 30. You are going to kind
of curl the ears. Making a half moon shape with the ears when you pin them on the head. It’s
the best way I can think to explain it. Refer to the 4th picture.
2. Sew the ears onto the head.

Sweet Oddity Art 9

Arms:
1. Cut a long strand of black thread. Mark 3 spots on your arms approximately between rounds
8 and 9. They will be one hole apart from each other. Insert your needle into a hole on the side
of the arm and bring the needle up to a pinned spot. Wrap the needle around the front of the
paw and insert the needle into a hole on the bottom of the foot. Repeat for the next 2 pinned
spots. Weave in the tail ends.
2. Make the collar and wrap it around the neck to see if it fits. You may need to adjust how
many you chain before you sew it on. Now take the collar and pin it around the neck. Sew the
collar together and bring the tail to the front of the neck. If you want to add a dog tag, do this
now. Weave in the yarn tails.
3. Pin the arms on the side of the body underneath the collar.
4. Sew the arms onto the body.

Makeup:
1. With blush or a pink crayon add some makeup to the nose area. Around the eyes and
anywhere else you would like to make it look like an actual bull terrier.

Helpful Tips:
Exact colors and brands of yarn used:
1. White: I love this yarn White
2. Pink: I love this yarn Soft Pink
3. Black: I love this yarn black

You can use different eye and nose sizes. You might have to adjust the placements if you
change the sizes.

You can use different hook sizes and weights of yarn. It will just change the size of your bull
terrier and you might need to adjust eye and nose placement.

How you stuff matters! The type of stuffing you use, how you stuff, all this matters on how your
bull terrier turns out. I prefer Polyfil stuffing but you can use other types.
