Dear Sir,

Im as a coordinator of a human rights NGO, Kesatuan Kemanusiaan Bersama (KKB)

harshly condemning a statement issued by a Malaysian parliamentarian recently issued
about a miscgynistic statement saying that woman should be hosted. This statement is
very wrong because of women comprise almost half of Malaysia's population. Their
contribution is either as Wives, mothers and paid workers, in developing nations and
nations are very important.

They do not just play a leading role in the generation of generations will come and forget
the important economic resources. In the sector rural and agricultural, women continue to
be an important factor. Employment of women has also been increased significantly in the
manufacturing sector especially in the textile and electronics. In the services sector such
as community, social, private and public services the public sector, women's participation
is also increasing.

Women have also played a long role active in the country's politics. They are a strong and
frequent group of voters play a role as a voter. Lastly, I appeal to the authorities to harshly
criticize the statement issued by the MP in which women play an important role inside and
outside the home and are important economic source. The government's goal is to make
a women as a partner just as important as the nation's efforts.
