Academic excellence is the only requirement for a successful career

"The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it from you."
We often say that getting good marks is what academic excellence is about, but no
it is the process of education we go through. From learning ABC in kindergarten to
learning History, Science, and more in higher grades. This process of academic
excellence provides us with the strong base of knowledge that we require for building
our life.
The education system in the primary years is designed so as to provide basic
knowledge of each subject and help the youth to choose their subject of interest for
its deeper study. It plays a key role in the development of society and nation.
Information cannot be converted into knowledge without education. Education
makes us capable of interpreting things clearly.
Academic performance exhibits a plethora of information about a person--not
simply what we learned but: work ethic, punctuality, etc. To me, all of the extra-
curricular activities are icing on the cake but don't exempt one's poor academic
record. If a person is busy in the academy and doesn’t focus too much on their
studies, chances are they going to be a busy person, and potentially not focus on
their job.
Academic performance measures qualities of a student also. The written exams
test students' ability to master knowledge. The oral exams provide another means
to train students' courage and ability to demonstrate their ideas accurately. If a
student wants good grades, they have to be both industrious and intelligent.

Excellence in academics prepares one for the competition ahead and teaches them
to work hard. Moreover, Excellency will ensure admission to the best universities
for higher education that provides exposure and a kick start to the career. I would
like to conclude with a quote "The goal of education is the advancement of
knowledge and the dissemination of truth."
Examples of Bill Gates and Steve Jobs can be counted on our fingers. Such people
are one in a million. What about the rest of the people? They would not be able
achieve anything in their life without academic excellence. “Academic excellence
is success itself.”
