WRITESHOP ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF DIVISION

LEARNING OUTCOMES ASSESSMENT TOOLS

1. Pursuant to the Department of Education's thrust to improve learning outcomes,

the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) will hold a 4-day Writeshop on the
Development of Division Learning Outcomes Assessment Tools on July 24-27, 2023 at
a venue to be announced later. This workshop aims to produce a test bank as ready
source for formative, summative, pre, and post tests. Once validated, these assessment
tools will be made available for teachers through the e-library of the division.

2. Participants in this writeshop are selected teacher-writers from all learning areas,
Education Program Supervisors, and Public Schools District Supervisors.

3. Attached is the official list of teacher-writers from the elementary and secondary
levels.

4. Service credits shall be given to participants subject to the DepEd Order No. 53
s. 2003 titled "Updated Guidelines on the Grant of Vacation Service Credits to Teachers"
and the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Joint Circular No. 2 s. 2004
titled "Non-Monetary Remuneration for Overtime Service Rendered" to non-teaching
personnel.

5. Expenses incurred relative to this activity shall be charged against HRTD Funds
while travelling expenses of the participants shall be charged to local funds, subject to
the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

6. Wide and immediate dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.
