PROCEDURE
Give learners a scenario wherein if they were to be working in a supermarket, which
among the following items (for example, lotion, bread, fruits, oil, soap, egg, and
vinegar) would, they place in the same shelf. After that, ask them on what is the
basis in grouping the given materials. They should answer that the materials with
the same characteristics should be grouped together.

By this procedure, learners would get to think critically as well as answer more
accurately as the objects are seen in real life. They would also have to observe the
objects and their similarities in order to come up with the characteristics of the
phases of matter.

2. PROCEDURE
Show learners set of pictures that consist of actions such as smelling, tasting, and
listening, etc. that could be characterize as an action for 5 sense organs and then ask
them what sense organ is the correct function for each of the picture. After teaching
the 5 sense organs, show them several pictures that consist of actions, both good
and bad for the sense organ, then ask them whether the picture shows proper way
to take care of the sense organs.

By this activity, learners would get to learn basic knowledge that they must know
about themselves, their body, and how to take care of each body organ.

3. PROCEDURE
Give learners an activity wherein there is a picture that they have to analyze. They
will write in the blank the correct word that describes the position of an object,
animal, or person in each picture. For example, the dog is ________ the tricycle.

By this activity, they are not only learning about the placement of an object. They
are also learning the appropriate preposition of each object. It only shows that
different subjects interconnect with each other.

4. PROCEDURE
Give learners two pictures consist a sunny and rainy days. On their notebook or
paper, ask them to write the things they should do on each of the weather days. Ask
them also to write why we have to ready ourselves in case the weather becomes
sunny and rainy.

By having this activity, their critical thinking will be used in order to thing multiple of
necessary actions and precautions to take when suddenly the weather changes
without notice. They would learn to value their selves.
