Requisites
This course provides background information on what the Bible is
and how it should be approached. It attempts to clarify the ultimate
objective of the people’s use of the Bible and give ways on how the
Course Bible should be read. It seeks to strike the balance between the divine
Description and human character of the Bible, a special characteristics which it
shares with the Incarnate Son of God—completely human and
Divine.

1. Acquire basic knowledge about the Old and New Testament of


Bible and how it should be approached.
2. Be familiar with certain passages that are helpful to our
spiritual growth and in the different circumstances of our
lives.

Course Requirements/ Grading System:

Course Policies:
1. Students are allowed 11 class hours of absences during MWF Classes and 7 hours of
absences during TTh classes. This is inclusive of tardiness and even sickness, or similar
reasonable and emergency situations. All absences after that shall mean excessive absences,
and the student will be dropped.
2. Come to class on time. Those who will arrive 15 minutes after the official time will be
marked absence.
3. Daily routine: Each student will be assigned to lead the opening and closing prayer and to
clean the board.
4. Homework will be due at the beginning of the class. No homework will be accepted
thereafter.
5. Special exams are scheduled one week after the administration of the major exams. No
special exam will be given thereafter.
6. Students must be honest at all times; cheating, copying classmate’s homework and
plagiarism in any form will merit a grade of 0.00. You are expected to do your own work.
7. Cellular/mobile phones should always be in the silent mode during class hours; use of
phones is prohibited in class unless a special permission is sought.
8. Maintain the cleanliness of the room. Keep all your trashes inside your bags. The teacher
may instruct you to clean and make order in the classroom before and after the lesson.
9. Respect yourself and other people. Take care not only of your personal belongings but also
the properties of others and of the school.
10. Attend to personal needs before coming to class. You are not allowed to leave the classroom
during the period. You should have attended to your personal needs before entering the
classroom.
11. If you are not in your assigned seat, you will be marked absent.
12. Eating inside the classroom is not allowed unless you have been given special permission.
You will be receiving food for the mind not food for the stomach. You have your vacant
hours to eat whatever you want but not inside the classroom and not within the period.
