The school is an institution which is responsible in molding the learners into a responsible individual in
the society. This is where each learner is crafted into a better person based on the kind of learning he/she is
raised. Just like human, school cannot stand alone and accomplish designed tasks and objectives without the
help from the community. Thus, all the people in the community even those who do not study in the school are
factors to achieve the mission and aspiration of a school.

Tumalim National High School adheres to this important event. With the different plans conspired,
TNHS aims to bring together all the people in the community, the teachers, learners with their parents and other
stakeholders to participate and contribute their time, effort and resources to make the school “learner-ready”.
Moreover, Brigada Eskwela also shows the spirit of “bayanihan”.

TNHS desires to undergo Brigada Eskwela for the following reasons: 1) Through this event, the school
saves resources to make the school beautiful . Since this event relies on linkages among stakeholders, most
resources come from donations and pledges. This also strengthens the communication with the stakeholders. 2)
because of camaraderie and unity among stakeholders, all the heavy and hard works become light and easy.

They say that, “No one is an island”, and as a community that loves each other, the school looks forward
for all the help to make this event successful.
