This standard specifies the dimensions and required characteristics of a self-adhesive plastic label
or self-adhesive or not photo-sensitive metallic label.

4 - REQUIRED CHARACTERISTICS

4.1 - Configuration, dimensions, labels thickness

4.1.1 - Configuration shall be in accordance with the figure.

4.1.2 - Dimensions shall be in accordance with table 1.

4.1.3 - Labels thickness shall be in accordance with table 2.

4.2 - Materials and operation ranges

Materials and operation ranges shall be in accordance with table 2.

4.3 - Colors

4.3.1 - Color of characters shall be in accordance with table 2.

4.3.2 - Color of background shall be in accordance with table 2.

4.4 - Type code and height of script

4.4.1 - Script type code shall be in accordance with table 1 and NSA0021 standard.

4.4.2 - Height of script shall be in accordance with table 1 and NSA0021 standard.

4.4.3 - A similar font in accordance with the dimensions given in NSA0021 standard may be
used as an alternative.

4.5 - Parts to be identified

Parts to be identified shall be in accordance with table 1.

6 - MARKING

Unless otherwise specified by contract, marking shall be made as per EN2424, category G.

It shall include on conditioning support:

- The manufacturer's part number,

- The manufacturer's name or trademark,
- The date of manufacture (year, week),
- The identification defined in chapter 5.
