 THE EXPLANATION

#Verse 1

First of all, let’s assume that the majority of people have felt some moments that are full of
sadness, anger, emptiness, fear, loneliness, helplessness and other kinds of bad feelings. Each
feeling makes us feel like we are not really living, that is why it is said in the lyrics “dead man
walking”. Because our days felt so gloomy and dark inside.

But, do not forget that in our life, we can still choose to get up and keep fighting or just keep
silent in the hiding place. When we choose to keep walking, we should see more of the good side
of life and never get a thought of people who said bad things but not helping us to improve
ourselves. That is how we will see our new selves.

So, we should wake up and get started to do anything that we dreamed of. Light a fire in our
hearts to get to the top and we will see the wide world. By that, we may get thrilled.

When we begin to imagine and express our deep feelings, we will get to see what kind of thing
we can do. After passing that moment, we know we never want to come back to our old selves
and start loving the way we are now.

Sometimes, we always believe that we should avoid the crowd and never speak because we are
scared of people that like to judge. But, we cannot be like that until forever. We have to let our
feelings and ideas be known by people whether it will get negative or positive feedback. With
that, we can get proof to show society that we could be a useful person.
