You are asked to make ratings and take field notes regarding 3 sets of items:
A. Client Items
B. Service Provider Items
C. Client‐Provider Interaction Items
Focus on indicators of level of engagement, considering the client alone, the service provider
alone, and then their interaction. Keep in mind cultural variations in (a) the words that people
use to describe feelings and behaviors (which may vary from person to person), and (b) the
range of behaviors that might indicate involvement in the client or service provider role.
