They do, but they do not have unlimited copies of the ebooks; you could be waiting weeks or months

for a chance to read a popular title. They work basically like physical copies in ebook form . In general ,
my area is not very up to date. We still can’t pay local businesses on the internet for example (such as
trash…water and sewer have finally gone online but have fees to use). Most businesses still do not have
websites. Something like 70% of families in our area still do not use a computer (though a large
percentage do use cell phones). When I moved here in 2005 I was hoping they would catch up soon (I
moved from a much larger city to a mostly rural area), but that has not been the case.

Eta: I don’t use audiobooks, so I have no idea how their audiobook collection works.

Also, this month the only book I listened to was Clean Sweep. I had others I had started but they
became unavailable as soon as I finished Clean Sweep. Everything else I wanted became unavailable
and is still unavailable. So I paid $10 to listen to one book. If I wanted to pay that much for one book,
I'd have used an audible credit.

I wouldn't even mind paying $10 for x amount of audiobooks if they'd let you know how many you
get, but they don't so that. Obviously the amount of books is different for everyone. I went a year with
no interruption, soon as I listen to a new release that's the only one I get for the month. That 's not
consistent and it is not reasonable to expect people to pay and not know what they're paying for.

Yep, straight from their FAQ. Still doesn't explain how I was able to listen to stuff 100% unlimited,
from the same author that triggered the blocks too, up until I canceled. Their FAQ says nothing about
the algorithm being harder on those with free trials and those who cancel with time left , which is
obviously what's happening. There's tons of people who will testify that they got hit harder under those
circumstances.

They should not he allowed to advertise themselves as unlimited because they most definitely are not .
They also don't allow customers to make informed decisions on how to use their money on the app.
They do not tell you which book will trigger blocks and what will he blocked when triggered. If people
know a certain book will trigger blocks, they'd probably like to listen to something else. However , they
can't because they're in the dark.

I got one book for $10, which I could have got on audible. Those FAQs don't mention that you will
be stuck paying $10 for one book. When I say I got one book, I mean it. Basically everything in the
fantasy and romance sections are blocked because that 's what I read. Sure , I can get an unlimited supply
of stuff I don't read, but who really wants to read stuff they don't enjoy?

Imagine if Netflix put up a block on all fantasy shows and movies & 70% of your watch later list
because you watched the Witcher. It is popular so they put up those blocks without any warning that
The Witcher would trigger those blocks. Most probably wouldn't watch The Witcher so they could
watch other stuff the rest of the month but they got no warning so Nwtflix is basically useless to them
for a month.
