1. What are the challenges of a reception manager as discussed in video 1? In
your perspective, which skills or competencies are needed as a front office
staff to overcome such challenges?
 One of the difficulties the reception manager faces is making sure they meet the
budgetary goals they are sent both monthly and annually. Additionally, they must
ensure that everything they do is flawless by adhering to the tight hotel
standards, educating their staff to provide excellent client service, and answering
all of the guests' inquiries.
2. As discussed in video 1, explain your standpoint on training internal
manpower for potential job promotion instead of hiring someone
externally, particularly in the front office department.
 In the front office area, I believe there can be a number of advantages to training
current staff for potential job progression. Finally, The Ritz London can decide that
it is smart and advantageous to train current employees for potential job
promotions within the front office department. Financial savings, a more loyal
and motivated crew, and the preservation of the hotel's unique culture could all
arise from it. It should be done thoughtfully, with an emphasis on skill
development and fairness, to ensure the best results for both individuals and the
organization.
3. As shown in video 2, which job position ignites your interest the most?
Discuss the roles of your chosen hotel personnel.
 A guest services executive, also known as a guest services manager or guest
relations manager, is a key employee of a hotel who is in charge of making sure
that the guests have a nice experience. Their primary responsibility is to supervise
and organize all aspects of the hotel's guest services. Here are some examples of
typical tasks and responsibilities for a guest services executive. The role of the
guest service executive is crucial in ensuring that hotel guests have a satisfying
and memorable experience because they are typically the initial point of contact
for visitor questions and assistance.
4. What other job positions who collaborate with the front office department
are not shown in video 2? Discuss at least two (2) with their corresponding
responsibilities.
 Elevator Operation- Operates elevator to move people between floors of office
