Personification and Allegory in Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland

Statement of the Problem

This study demonstrates how the author used allegory, personification of animals and
inanimate objects, fantasy, fables, his imagination, and a fusion of fiction and reality to express
her beliefs. The study also demonstrated how the book affected children's literature.

Research objective

This study aims to achieve the following objectives:


1. Describe how the concepts of allegory, personification of animals and inanimate objects,
fantasy, and beast tale are similar and different from one another.

2. Show how the terminology chosen from their philosophical, social, and political
backgrounds are similar and different.

3. be aware of the book's influence on children's literature

Research question

1. How do the terms allegory, personification of animals and inanimate objects, fantasy, and
beast tale compare and contrast?

2. How has the book affected children's literature?
