TASK 1 – MEMORANDUM

Please make this information available to all clients interested in purchasing property
abroad.
C. Know exactly what you want and how much you have to spend . Work out
your finances in advance and always leave a little to spare.
D. Keep accessibility in mind. If it is difficult to get to the property, then this will
affect the future value of the property and your rental income.
E. Invest for the long term. Property should always be considered as a long
term investment for a minimum of ten years, to ensure you get a good return
on your investment.
F. Trust your instincts. If a deal sounds or looks too good to be true, then it’s
better to investigate further before signing on the dotted line.
2. Insert a Word Art graphic (choose style: Gradient Fill – GRAY) with the text Cars, and
position it at the top, centre of the page.
3. Apply the transform effect Inflate to the Word Art, and change the width of the Word
Art graphic to 16 cm.
4. Locate the picture file named Picture Car on your exam folder, and insert it in the
document, positioned in the top right of the page, with square text wrapping.
7. Insert a suitable clipart image at the bottom centre of the document, and resize so that
the document fits onto one page.
8. Add a watermark to the page with the text MOTOR CARS diagonally, in grey print.
9. Replace the word ‘Nicky’ with the word ‘Nicholas’ in the document.
13. Save this document to your exam folder as Display Cars, and upload one copy.
FILE MANAGEMENT NAVY EXERCISE
1)
a. Locate and open the Navy Folder in your exam folder. Display the folders and files
to show the name, size, type and date modified.
b. Locate the Document 1 file in the Navy Folder and rename it as Admiral Nelson.
c. Capture a full screen image showing the files and paste the image into a new word
document.
2)
a. Locate in the Navy Folder the Admiral Folder and create two subfolders within it
and name them Vice Admiral and Captain.
b. Locate the flag image within the Navy Folder. Copy this file to the Admiral Folder.
c. Capture a full screen image showing the subfolders and paste the image into the word
document.
3) Use the search facility to locate the History File within the Navy Folder. Capture a
screen
image showing the search result and paste the image into the word document.
4) Save the word document as File Management Navy and upload one copy.
