Scalar are quantities that are fully described by a magnitude alone while

Vectors are quantities that are fully described by both a magnitude and a direction.

A quantity which does not depend on direction is called a scalar quantity. Vector quantities
have two characteristics, magnitude and direction. Scalar quantities have only a magnitude.
When comparing two vector quantities of the same type, you have to compare both the

a
magnitude and the direction.

Vector has directions
Vector - both direction and magnitude

A scalar quantity is described by magnitude. ( number and unit only)

s
•Difference of direction and directions

Direction - is location or north, east, south, and west.

u
Directions - is instructions.

l
• Distance and displacement

a
Distance is a scalar quantity that refers "The length of the entire path"
Distance is scalar, Distance is dashed line

S
Displacement - Shortest Distance but with directions.
Displacement - heavy line.

When can Displacement be equal to zero ( 0 ) ?

- Just put it back where it started but the meters or the length it traveled is twice when
calculated.
- Displacement to 0 because it's back to its original position.

In this topic, North, East, South, and West have only one dimension.

North to South or South to North

East to West or West to East

( May angle² na daw yan pero hindi pa ngayon I di discuss)
