and Accounting in Times of Global Uncertainty

Pat is an assistant professor at CamEd Business School in Phnom Penh,

Cambodia. He has been working in Southeast Asia for 6 years now and focuses
on development of the financial sector. Pat studied at UC Berkeley, Sciences
Po, Paris, and the London School of Economics before heading to Asia. His
research interests include the financial system, banking regulations, sovereign
wealth funds, and micro finance institutions. He also helped in founding and is
currently the managing director of InterConnexia, a business process
outsourcing firm with hundreds of employees in the Americas, Europe, and
Asia. The main focus of the private firm is in the luxury goods space.

Let's jump in a time machine and follow me in the streets of
Berlin. As a French, I would love to show you how fascinating
Berlin is and was. Do not expect here the architecture of Paris
but I may mention one or two times the French in Berlin and
their influence on the German capital from the 17th Century
until today.

By the end of our time together, I hope you might feel or
understand that Berlin survived almost everything and still

Please note there is no need to join the virtual session from the

How long is a conference paper presentation for in-person or virtual
delegates?
In-person or virtual presenters will have 13 minutes for paper
