Take Home Group Assignment

INSTRUCTIONS
(Maximum Marks: 60)

Due On: 11:59 pm 11 June 2023

[Late submissions will not be entertained]

Write an original Recommendatory Report, in APA format, based on any one of the topics
provided on the next page. Each group has 4-6 members, and all are expected to contribute to the
report. Idle group members will be penalized. Considering previous incidents, there is a strict
policy on plagiarism, and the presence of unreferenced material above 15% will lead to a penalty
in the marks awarded.

Your report should focus on the following:


● Prefatory parts (the cover, title page, acknowledgment, table of contents, list of
illustrations, and abstract)
● Introduction
o properly developed background
o purpose and authorization: who has asked for it, who has been asked to prepare
for it with designations clearly mentioned
o scope and limitations of the report
o methods and sources of data collection
o methodology adopted for the study: different sampling methods, approach
adopted to interpret the data
o significance of the study
o division of the report
● Discussion (interpretation of the data with the use of 4 illustrations

b) Analysis of Data
● Conclusion/s
● Recommendation/s ​
● Appendix
● Bibliography

Suggestive length of the report: 8-10 pages (excluding prefatory parts, appendix, and
bibliography)

GUIDELINES

1. Submit both soft copy and hard copy. The hard copy should be submitted to your section
instructor according to their specific instructions.

2. The soft copy of the assignment should be emailed to your section instructor (not the IC)
and named according to this format: Group 2 from Section L1 - File name:

G2_L1N_TRW_June_2023

Submissions in any other format will NOT be accepted.

3. APA formatting should be followed at all times. Formatting should be consistent.

4. Plagiarism of any kind will be strictly penalized. If there is a significantly high


percentage of plagiarism, the assignment will be discarded, and zero marks will be
awarded to the group. Copying from old reports will be treated as plagiarism.

5. All group members must contribute equally to the project, and the division of labor
should be laid out on the certification page. If a member or members of the group do not
contribute at all or provide plagiarized material, it should be reported to the section
instructor.

6. Random group changes are not allowed unless done with your section instructor’s
permission.
