centrifuge is a piece of equipment that puts an
objectin rotation around a fixed axis (spins it in
a circle),applying a potentially strong force
perpendicular to theaxis of spin (outward).
This paper presents a different sample mixture
that is being centrifuge in a low speed
centrifuge. This different mixture is rotated in
the centrifuge with different time allotted on
every group of samples.

our experiment in centrifugation and how

Procedure:
Satisfactory in separating mixtures through
centrifugation technique might be successful in
3 minutes 1200 rpm
following the procedure that is provided.
Prepare the materials needed for the experiment
(2) Prepare the sample and put small amount of
it in every centrifugal tube. (3) Make sure that
every tube has same volume . (4) Open the
centrifuge and place the tube with samples,
place it facing each other samples. (5) make
sure that the position of every sample is balance
so that the centrifuge work well. (6) Set the time
and speed you want to set to achieve the desired
result. (7) Wait for the centrifuge to finish its 5 minutes 1200 rpm
rotation, if it stop you may now get the tubes
and observe. (8) observe the sample and the
result before and after it place in centrifuge. (9)
Write your observation in your notes.

Safety Precaution:
In doing different experiment everyone should

gloves is a must to avoid contact in different
chemicals and other hazardous substance. Wear
face mask and practice etiquette in using
laboratory equipment. Label the materials
especially the chemical that you use in the
experiment.

In this laboratory experiment, we
conducted about the separation of Appendices:
constituents of mixture through
centrifugation. This technique is useful in
separating two miscible substances, and an
effective assisted technique to remove the
concentrated solution from different
mixtures. This technique is useful
especially in clinical or scientific usage in
separating solid substance from a liquid.
From this experiment, we have an insight Fig. 2 Some of the materials and sample
on how centrifuge work on separating mixture
mixtures of any substance, gas can also
separate by centrifugation that is why this
technique is use even in engineering but in
high-speed type of centrifuge.

In conclusion, separation of constituents of

mixture through centrifugation has a vital
importance in the field of science, and this
applied in different application, medicinal, Fig. 3 Low speed Centrifuge
