Haircuts will consist of 4 sections

1. BACK & SIDES

2. CROWN & TOP
3. CONNECTION
4. FINISHING & STYLE

HAIRCUT 10am POMPADOUR– #0 TAPER

Starting point will be :

CROWN & TOP

1. Section off crown from the top. Section both sides of the top from the middle of crown to the
each recessive corner. Disconnect the fringe area.
 2. Create a profile guideline from crown to Occipital
3. Pivot around the crown in pie formation and use the profile guideline for length.
4. Over direct side triangle sections towards ear and cheekbones, use crown guideline for length
reference. Repeat on other side.
5. Use horizontal sections on top and use side sections as cutting guideline.
6. Section the fringe area in vertical planes. Layer from the front of the fringe to closest horizontal
section.

BACK & SIDES

1. Start with Highest guard (#3) creating your base length at the crest area.
2. Create guideline using lowest guard (#0) The guideline place dictates the effect of the taper. E.g
High taper will be from temporal to top the ear, Low taper will be below the temporal to on the
ear, Natural taper will be from top on the cheekbone to the ear

CONNECTION

1. Projection and elevation for clipper over comb to connect the back & Sides to the crown & top.
This creates the strong square foundation of the cut.
2. Texturize ends of hair to blend and bind the connection

FINISHING & STYLE

1. Edging and line up using the natural hairline as a guide.

2. Add texture via point cutting
3. Blow dry and style with paste
