The diversity wheel is a concentric circle with different dimensions that affect individual
personality development and has four layers; personality, internal, external, and organizational
levels.

2. Why did Diversity Wheel was created?

The diversity wheel is the foundation of an individual that discusses our culture and social
differences.

3. Differentiate the inner (primary dimensions and outer circle (secondary dimensions) of
Loden’s Diversity Model.

The inner layer of Loden's Diversity Wheel is the fundamentals of aspects of a person that are
ingrained or less unchangeable and have a more direct impact on the person's experience and
expressions. The outer layer may change over time due to specific circumstances.

4. How does Loden’s Diversity Wheel relate to PEd -2?

The concepts of the diversity wheel can be related to the field of education by emphasizing and
recognizing various dimensions of diversity. It also helps create inclusive and effective
educational environments that cater to the diverse needs of students.
