She received a scholarship to study chemical engineering, but because engineering is not her area of
interest, she almost failed her math classes. She was forced to choose between taking her desired
course and continued her engineering course as a result.

She chose the latter.

Her success story began when she shifted to her course to communication arts, which she really
enjoyed doing. In order to continue her education, she began looking for summer jobs . This is where
she discovered the SPES Program, she had no idea what she was applying for, yet she submitted.

She got hired at the Treasurer's Office of the Local Government Unit of Batac, and her second one
was with the Civil Registrar's Office. She financed for her two years of education with the help of the
stipend she received as a SPES Beneficiary.

After graduation, In 2002, she entered ABS-CBN's Star Cinema Production as a Production Assistant
Intern, which served as a stepping stone to her success. In 2007, she also passed the Paralegal and
Secretary exams. She didn't stop there; in 2016, she earned her accreditation as a Court-annexed
Mediator, and in 2018, she earned her certification as a Legal Researcher.

Now, she serves as a Corporate Planning, Communications & Office Manager for Energy Trading and
Information Technology.
