A. Municipal Scholars

With a total of 28 college students received P 500.00 monthly allowance, 3


students from UP Scholar Baler given 2000.00 each student monthly.

B. Teenage Pregnancy Awareness

To drumbeat attention and uphold its implementation following the issuance of the
Presidential Executive Order No. 141 series of 2021 or the adoption of the “Implementation
of Measures to Address the Root Cause of the Rising Number of Teenage Pregnancies” as a
national policy, the Local Government Unit of San Guillermo, Isabela through the
Municipal Social Welfare and Development (MSWDO) conducted the face to face 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵
𝗦𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘆, across the town.

The Symposium held at their respective Barangay Hall, starting on August 24, 25,
26, 30 and 31 at Burgos, Villa Sanchez, Villa Remedios, Sa Francisco Sur, Aringay, San
Mariano Sur, Dingading, Guam, Villa Rose and Nakar. Attended by male 40 and female
207 individuals.

The next month, Sep 9, 2022 it was held at San Guillermo, Vocational and
Industrial Highschool with a total of 39 male and 53 female, together with their
respective advisers. On Sep 27, 2022 at Southern Isabela Academy, Inc. with a total of
174 male and 216 female. On Sep 28, 2022 it was held at Barangay Centro 1 with a
total of 9 male and 21 female attended.

The symposium started with a prayer followed by the singing of the national
anthem, then the opening remarks of the Punong Barangay/ Principal. An energizer Q
and A portion before the lecture proper. Lovelie Gemme B. Tamani-MPO Designee gave
the lecture on the definition of terms, Anatomy, current state of San Guillermo in terms
of teenage pregnant cases provincial level and how to prevent it, she appealed “We
have received reports on the number of teenagers getting pregnant, that is why we appeal
to you to become instruments and inspiration to other peers so that we can prevent the
rising data on teenage pregnancy”. At the end of the lecture students was encouraged to
use all platform to encourage fellow youth, by using the #IChoose at their post, to
choose their dreams.

The symposium ended with a message from the Municipal Mayor representatives
around noon.
