research locale, sample and sampling technique, instrumentation, data

gathering procedure, and statistical treatment of data.

RESEARCH DESIGN

(For the first paragraph, define the research design used. Do not forget to

cite your sources. As for the second paragraph, explain why the research design

paragraphs.)

STATISTICAL TREATMENTS

The results of the organized tabulated data will be treated statistically. The

following statistical treatments will be used to interpret the gathered data.

(Examples only.)

1. Percentage – This is used to compute the frequency and percent distribution

of the respondents. In this study, this will be utilized to calculate the

percentage of the respondents based on their age and sex.

The formula is: % = (F)/N x 100%

Where: % - Percentage

F – Frequency

N – No. of Respondents

2. Mean – This is used to get the average of the responses of the respondents

for every statement regarding the ___________________________.

The formula is: x̄ =Σfx /Σf

Where:

x̄ = the mean value of the set of given data.

F = frequency of each class

x = mid-interval value of each class
