Subject: ESTABLIHMENT OF HYDROLOGICAL STATION AT THATTA-SUJAWAL

BRIDGE - SINDH BARRAGE PROJECT

A meeting was held in the office of Chief Engineer-II (Hydro) Planning, WAPDA regarding
the subject matter, attended by Expert (Sedimentation) for subject Project and
representatives of SWHP & Hydro Planning, WAPDA. During the meeting, methodology
for discharge & sediment measurement and various locations for establishment of
hydrological station, downstream Kotri were discussed. It was decided that Thatta-Sujawal
Bridge (abandoned) is the most suitable location for establishment of Hydrological Station
on Indus River downstream Kotri.

In this regard, an estimate for carrying out above mentioned activity as discussed during
the meeting may please be submitted at the earliest.
