German submarines still navigate in the Atlantic Ocean. British, thanks to the fact that they

embarked only passengers but, Lusitania had also a military cargo: rifle ammunitions and shells.
Lusitania was described as unmistable and invulnerable like Titanic and Bismark. Moreover, he was the
fastest grantest ocean liner. Her captain, The Captain Turner, was a “old school” commander and had
already crossed the Atlantic. On May 7, Lusitania was torpedoed by the U 20, a german submarine led
by captain Walter Schwieger. It was among the most lethal submarine in world war I. Lusitania sunk in
only 20 minutes while there were 2000 people onboard, including Americans. This sinking would be
the cause of entry into the war of the United States. However, this sinking raises a moral question.
