Raster is a type of digital image composed of pixels arranged in a grid ,where each
pixel represent a specific color. Raster image are resolution-dependent, meaning that
their quality and detail depend on the number of pixels in the image.

The most common raster file formats are JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP and TIFF.

Raster images are commonly used in :-

 Web graphics.
 Photographs.
 Digital art.
 Print media(such as magazine and brochures)
 Video

Vector is a type is a type of digital image composed of mathematical equations that

define the shapes and the lines of the digital image. Vector image are resolution-
independent, meaning they can be scaled to any size without losing quality.

The most common vector files formats are SVG, AI, EPS and PDF.

Vector images are commonly used in :-

 Logos.
 Illustrations.
 Graphic design.
 Branding.
 Product packing.
 Signiture.
