Chapter 1
INTRODUCTION
On-the-job training allows employees to gain experience working in situations
very similar to those they’ll encounter on a daily basis. Employees will use the same
tools and equipment they need for their job while being guided by an experienced
trainer. Participating in a work immersion program offers several benefits to us
students. Firstly, it provides an opportunity to gain practical knowledge and experience
in their chosen field, which complements their academic learning. By applying
theoretical concepts to real-life scenarios, students can gain a deeper understanding of
their field and how to effectively navigate it. Additionally, a work immersion program
allows us students to observe the daily operations of a company and learn about its
work processes. This experience can help students understand the industry's best
practices and standards, and apply them to their future careers.

OJT or ON THE JOB training is a valuable opportunity for students like me to gain
practical work experience in a real-world setting. It allows us to apply the knowledge
and skills we have acquired in the classroom to actual work scenarios, and learn from
professionals in our chosen field. This experience will not only enhance my
understanding of my chosen field but will also help me develop important professional
skills. I am eager to learn from my mentors and colleagues and to make the most out of
this opportunity.

During my work immersion, I will be working with ma’am Jona C. Pechon, here in Infant
Jesus Learning Academy of Rodriguez, Rizal. I will have the opportunity to observe,
assist, and participate in various tasks and projects that will help me better understand
the industry, and how I can apply my learnings to my future career. I'm looking forward

to meeting new people and learning new things that will help shape my personal and
professional development. I am excited to share my experience with you and want to
motivate other students to follow their interests and discover new opportunities
through job immersion programs like this. Thank you for your encouragement and

From the very first day, I found myself eagerly diving into a world brimming with
opportunities and possibilities. Guided by ma’am Jona C. Pechon and surrounded by
fellow student assistant, I had the privilege of observing, learning, and actively
participating in the daily operations of a thriving workplace. The workplace became my
canvas, and I embraced every task and responsibility as an opportunity to cultivate new

to me is observing her and her class while she's teaching them. After that her class
advisory went to the clinic to do their daily dentist checkup. I watched them while they
were doing their checkups, ma’am Pechon’s class is not that hard to watch out because
they’re all nice. Ma’am Pechon gave me another task after I finished eating, I fix her
class attendance book. After that I continued observing but in stem 11, I continued
