RE: APPLICATION FOR EXTENSION OF INTERNSHIP AT KHOMAS REGIONAL COUNCIL WHICH

EXPIRES END OF SEPTEMBER

I am currently doing my attachments in the IT department and would like to extend the time given
to me for attachments. The department has been of great help by giving me practical experience in
my field of study and I feel I still have more to learn.

 Due to unforeseen circumstances, My Supervisor’s frequent travel, I have experienced

delays in receiving guidance, feedback, and direction on my assigned tasks and projects. This
has limited my ability to make substantial progress and learn as effectively as I had hoped.
 Mentorship: My Supervisor has been instrumental in my growth as an IT intern. Their
mentorship and expertise have been invaluable in enhancing my technical skills and
understanding of IT operations. Unfortunately, their absence has created gaps in this crucial
aspect of my internship experience.

Given these circumstances, I kindly request an extension of my IT internship for a period 3 months.
This extension will enable me to make up for the time lost during Supervisor's travels, allowing me to
maximize the learning opportunities and contribute more effectively to the team and the company's
goals.

I want to assure you that I remain fully committed to fulfilling my internship responsibilities and
making a positive impact during this extended period. I am willing to provide any necessary
documentation or fulfil any additional requirements to facilitate this extension.
