-One reason could be the desire for professional growth and career advancement. As
an electronic assembler, the individual may have gained experience in assembling
electronic components but may want to broaden my skillset and take on new
challenges. Moving into a support engineer role would allow me to learn new skills
such as troubleshooting electronic components and systems.

Are willing to work in Penang?

-Yes, I am open to the possibility of relocating to Penang for this opportunity. I
understand that the company has its operations in Penang and I am willing to make
the necessary arrangements to ensure a smooth transition. I am excited about the
prospect of working with the company and contributing to its success, regardless of
the location.

Can you explain about your FYP?

- Yes sure, The tile of my FYP is Heterogenous Ant Colony Optimization for PCB
Drilling Problem. HACO also known as an algorithm that uses a group of ants to find
the best drilling sequence for PCBs. Each ant represents a drilling sequence and
chooses the next drilling point based on the pheromone trails left by other ants.
In the context of PCB drilling, the algorithm can optimize the drilling sequence by
assigning the appropriate drilling machine to each drilling point based on its
characteristics.

The characteristic means

-the different properties or features of the drilling machines used for PCB
drilling. For example, different machines may have different drilling speeds,
accuracies, or costs associated with them. By assigning the appropriate machine to
each drilling point based on its characteristics, the algorithm can optimize the
drilling sequence and minimize the total drilling time while ensuring that the
drill does not break and the PCB is not damaged.

Experience in application test engineer

-While I don't have any direct experience in application test engineering, I have
gained valuable skills and knowledge from my current role as a final test
electronic assembler at Cochlear. In my current role, I am responsible for testing
of electronic components and systems. This has given me a solid foundation in
testing methodologies, defect tracking, and reporting. I have also gained
experience in analyzing technical specifications and identifying issues, which I
believe will be useful in application testing.

Resign notice
-My relinquish notice is currently 2 week. I want to ensure that I leave my current
employer on good terms and provide them with ample time to make arrangements for my
replacement.

Knowledge about android

- I've basic knowledge of android SDK and its components including android studio,
ADB and logcat.

elaborate more...
- The Android SDK (Software Development Kit) is a set of tools and APIs
(Application Programming Interfaces) to help developers build Android applications.

Android Studio: This is the official Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for
Android development, which includes a code editor, debugging tools, and emulators.

ADB (Android Debug Bridge): This is a command-line tool that allows developers to
communicate with an Android device or emulator. It can be used to install and
uninstall apps, transfer files, and debug applications.

Emulator: This is a virtual device that emulates an Android device on a computer.

It allows developers to test their apps on different Android versions and screen
sizes without having to use a physical device.

Android API: This is a collection of libraries and tools that developers can use to
build Android applications. It includes APIs for graphics, media, location,
messaging, and other features.

Android Support Library: This is a set of libraries that provide backward

compatibility for older Android versions, making it easier for developers to build
apps that work across different versions of Android.

Logcat: This is a debugging tool that allows developers to view and analyze system
and application logs.

Android emulator
The Android Emulator can be configured to emulate various devices, such as the
Google Pixel or Nexus devices, as well as custom devices with different
specifications. It also supports different Android versions, from older versions
like Android 4.4 KitKat to the latest Android 12.

In addition to the Android Emulator, there are also third-party emulators that
developers may use for testing their applications, such as Genymotion and
BlueStacks. However, the Android Emulator is generally the most widely used and
recommended emulator for Android application testing

CGPA
-while CGPA is one measure of academic achievement, I believe it's important to
also consider my other accomplishments, such as any relevant coursework,
internships, or extracurricular activities that demonstrate my skills and
experience in the field. Ultimately, I am confident that my skills and experience
make me a strong candidate for this position, and I am excited to bring my best to
this opportunity.

Question
- I have a question. Can you tell me more about the day to day responsibilities of
an application test engineer in this role?
Thank you for answering my questions.

last
