ADVISORY FOR EGYPT STUDENTS

As a part of the admission process, it’s our responsibility to remind you a few
things to be done before you catch your flight.

1. You must carry your Admission Letter from the University, Visa
Application, Passport, VISA, Air Ticket, Additional 20 (Borderless photos,
Fund Transferred Receipt (T T) etc. Carry them safely in a file or folder.
Pen (it is must to carry one pen with you)

2. You must have two activated International ATM cum debit Cards ready
in your hands, (Preferentially from a Nationalised Bank). You must carry
Dollars to pay your Hostel fees, Mess Fees and University other fees.

3. Wi-Fi has been provided in the entire campus. Carry a good Mobile
Phone and its Charger with multi pin , You may also carry a Laptop if
necessary.

4. Do not forget to carry the First Aid Kit. Personal medication drugs /
Medicines. Lip balm , Cold cream etc .. Note - Prescription scripts
mandatory.

5. Carry essential Dresses like Jeans, Shirts , T shirts, Salwar Suits, Towels,
Undergarments , one set bed sheet and pillow cover, Socks etc..and may
have one set of festival Wear & Foot wears. Hair oil, shaving kit for boys,
bath towel, bathroom Chapel , pen, a few notebooks etc.. Jacket, Sweater,

 Thermal Wear, scarf, hand gloves, socks etc .. other things you carry! Do
not worry! This is just to be handy for a few days after you reach it!
Everything from the tiniest to the largest, is available there.

6. Books are normally available in the University. However you may buy 2
books for yourself as given: A medical dictionary and Anatomy book (B.D
Chaurasia Vol:1 & 2) for self assessment.

7. Very minimum jewellery.

8. Personal Prayer materials, Clothes etc..

9. Two sets of White Aprons and one stethoscope.

10. Baggage= check in 25kg / 30kg Hand 7kg and a Laptop can also be
carried.

11. Any excess in Baggage has to be paid by the student as per the airline
rules. Liquid Items, any sharp items or Toiletries are not permitted in
the hand baggage. Power banks should be kept in handbag only. It is
prohibited in main luggage. Lithium batteries, dry cell batteries,
medication, knives and other sharp objects are also prohibited in the
main luggage.
