fashioned from a loose, comfy fit,
with a plunging v-neckline and
puffed sleeves for an ultra-cute

Material Print & Assemble

• 160 x 150 cm of denim or twill • First, be sure to use ACROBAT
• All-purpose thread READER to open your PDF sewing
• Jeans needle (size 16-18) patterns. It’s free!
• Universal needle
• Topstitch thread (optional) • Then, open your file and click
• Stay tape (width 1 cm) on the LAYERS icon (left side of the
• 1x zipper for dress (length 55 cm) screen) and uncheck all the sizes
• Zipper foot you won’t need.
• 1 m knitted elastic (width 1 cm)
• Now, click on the PRINT icon at
the top of the screen. The print
settings will appear, so verify that
the ACTUAL SIZE option is checked.
Click on the PRINT button!
• A 5 x 5 cm (and 2 x 2") control
square is provided to ensure that
your pattern is true to size.
• To ASSEMBLE, cut the sheets at
the bottom and right margins, as
indicated. Each sheet is labelled
with a letter and a number (A1,
B2…), so tape them together in
numerical and alphabetical
order. The sheets on one row
should have the same letter, and
the ones on the same column
should have the same number.

#UP1002 Sewing Assembly

Denim dress Unless otherwise specified, sew using a 1 cm wide seam allowance.

1. Add the stay tape on the center back, between the neck and marking.
2. Sew the center back seam, below the marking.
3. Make the zipper tab.
4. Attach the zipper and topstitch one side, then place the zipper tab
underneath the zipper (the long edge of the tab should meet on the
remaining side of the zipper). Topstitch the remaining side of the
Pattern Pieces zipper, catching also the tab.
5. Sew the front darts.
• Back, 2x fabric
6. Sew the shoulders.
• Zipper tab, 1x fabric 1x interfacing
7. Apply the neck binding (binding turned inside). First fold one end on
• Front, 2x fabric
each binding and match it with the center back.
• Collar, 2x fabric 2x interfacing
8. Sew the center front and topstitch it twice.
• Neck binding, 2x fabric
9. Sew the side seams.
• Sleeve, 2x fabric
10. Gather the sleeve caps.
• Elastic length, 2x knitted elastic
11. Sew the underarm seams.
12. Attach the sleeves to the dress.
13. Apply the elastics at the bottom the sleeves.
14. Hem the bottom of the sleeves, catching the elastic (turn once 1 cm).
15. Hem the bottom of the dress (turn twice 1 cm).
