- 100 % cotton yarn for a 2.5 mm hook ch = chain
- 4 pairs of 10 mm safety eyes slst = slip stitch
- Tapestry needle sc = single crochet
- Polyfiber fill hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet

You will need:


Skin tone yarn, white for their underwear, three shades of brown for the hairs of Meg, Jo and Beth and
yellow for Amy’s. Then you’ll need two colors for the dress of each doll: a main one and a contrasting one.
Finally, the color of your choice for Meg’s cape.
Oh! And a bit of pink to embroider their cheeks. I use 100% cotton yarn.

Finished size:
From head to toe, each March sister measures 22 cm approximately.
Of course, should you choose a different hook and yarn, final measures will vary…

Ready? Let’s begin!


The dolls are crocheted from their little legs up to the head in rounds… Then, you’ll crochet the skirt of their
dresses…

For all four dolls…

Leg 1
{Start with the color of her skin…}
1. Magic ring of 6 sc
2. Crochet *2 sc in each st*, repeat * (12)
3. to 8. Crochet 12 sc
9. Change to white (underwear) and, only through
back loops, crochet 12 sc
Close and break the yarn. Set aside.

Leg 2 + body
