DEMAND LETTER

Purok Pinya,

Dear Ma’am Cagang,

I am writing on behalf of my client, regarding your aggregated outstanding
debt amounting to SIXTY-THREE THOUSAND PESOS (Php63,000.00) as
of August 12, 2023. This amount had been overdue despite the repeated
demands and reminders made to you.
You borrowed money from my client, ________________ of Purok Dahlia,
last September 17, 2022, amounting to THIRTY THOUSAND PESOS
(Php30,000.00). You promised to pay the said amount in the following
month or on/or before October 17, 2022.
However, upon demand, you failed to pay the said amount, and instead, as
assurance that you will not renege on your obligation, asked for a monthly
interest of ten percent (10%) on top of the borrowed amount until you can
fully pay the entire obligation, to which my client agreed. Nevertheless, you
still failed to pay the said monthly interest; and no payment has been made
to date.
Consider this as a LAST and FINAL demand for you to settle fully your
above-mentioned amount within thirty (30) days from the receipt of this
demand letter; otherwise, needless to state, your failure to do so is prima
facie evidence of deceit constituting pretense or fraudulent act punishable
under the law, for which we will be constrained to file the proper civil and/or
criminal action against you to protect my client’s best interest.
I am trusting that you would give utmost preferential attention to this
matter.
