II. PERFORMANCE STANDARD: The learner designs and performs effective controlled and uncontrolled oral
communication activities based on context.

III. LEARNING COMPETENCY: Distinguishes the unique feature(s) of one communication process from the
other.

IV. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson, the learners should be able to:
A. differentiate verbal communication from nonverbal communication,
B. discuss the importance of verbal and nonverbal cues in communication, and;
C. perform a specific scene from a particular show or movie using verbal and nonverbal communication.
