We are more than elated to invite you to one of the most prestigious and
competitive events in the Bengaluru Circuit, the Sharanya Narayani International
School Model United Nations 2023 (SNISMUN2023) Conference. For over the
last 3 years, we have succeeded in making this event a common ground for the
delegates who are willing to put in various a diverse range of ideas and
perspectives to build a consensus that will assist in alleviating major world peace-
threatening events and conflicts.

Now, SNISMUN is back, and more exciting than ever with intriguing committees
led by highly competent Executive Board members who will never back down
from the responsibilities of this position, from helping an extremely confused
beginner to nudging the committee flow in the right direction. That being said,
one can expect nothing short of sheer brilliance in terms of what entails this
distinguished conference.

Considering that the knowledge and awareness of international affairs grows

more vital by the day, the significance of taking part in such an engaging activity
truly cannot be emphasized enough. Particularly, in times when countries are
constantly enforcing economic embargoes, and are persistently using violence to
settle disputes; it is important for the people to understand the intricacies of
such political complexities and unravel them in order to attain a deeper
understanding of foreign relations.

Coming to you with seven exciting committees, two days of fruitful debate and a
fun-filled evening dedicated to our lively socials, these aspects of this
phenomenal conference will fail to disappoint you at any moment of the
conference.

Greetings Delegates!

I am thrilled to invite you to the 4th Edition of the Sharanya Narayani International School
Model United Nations Conference. Model United Nations offers a unique platform for like-
minded individuals to collaborate and unravel the intricacies of complex international
issues. It cultivates enjoyable experiences through diplomatic problem-solving and fosters a
network of young minds, impacting both thought processes and social lives.

I believe that Model United Nations is an activity that every student must try their hand at.
It develops intellectual capacity, communication skills, diplomacy, and global awareness. It
shapes future decisions and actions, providing a global perspective on multifaceted matters.

Our conference, taking place on September 22nd and September 23rd of 2023, aims to
provide an inclusive environment for substantial debate and the enhancement of diplomatic
skill. With carefully curated committees and agendas, we challenge and inspire delegates of
all skill levels. Our adept Executive Board and Organizing Committee members will do their
best to ensure that the simulation reflects the complexities and authenticity of the United
Nations.
