Foreign languages have become a integral part of the

rising debate in the present world.While the proponents
of the argument are in favor, however, opponents are
completely against the relevance of language learning.In
my opinion, language learning have more positive
impacts than negative around the globe.
To commence with, there are a number of arguments in
favor of my belief.The most prominent one is that
language learning leads to advantages.According to the
research conducted by Victoria University, more than 90%
of the participants acknowledged the benefits showered
by language learning.In addition to that, language
learning also has the merit of having advantages.
However, critics may only point out that one of the most
significant disadvantges, language learning may result in
disadvantages.For instance a survey conducted in the
United States reveals that the negative impacts of
language learning are considerable and should never be
underestimated.
Lastly, the Government of Australia is taking a great
initiative in educating its citizens against the negative
impacts of language learning.Citizens are being
encouraged to follow the applicable laws as well as rules
and regulations to promote prosperity, productivity,
efficiency and a positive environment in the world.
To conclude, even when there are numerous demerits
associated with language learning, the disadvantages
outweigh the advantages, and language learning have
become a crucial part of our lives.Therefore, efficient use
of language learning should be promoted.However, its
excessive and misuse should be condemned.
