Power transformers TOH type

Compliant with IEC-76 standards, COMMISSION REGULATION (EU) No 548/2014, and its
amendment EU 2019/1783 on implementing Directive 2009/125/EC of the European Parliament and
of the Council with regard to small, medium and large power transformers (Ecodesign Tier 2).

Distribution oil step-down three phase two winding

transformers with a power of 25 to 1250 kV·A with a voltage
to 24 kV are targeted at national economy use, indoor and
outdoor type.

Technical specifications
TOH-25 – 1250 Power transformers are hermetically
sealed with voltage of primary winding to 24 kV and voltage of
secondary winding 0,4 or 0,42 kV.
Connections and vector group – Dyn11, Dyn5; Yzn11
or another.
The transformers provide off load tapping on primary
side. For this purpose transformers are equipped with high-
voltage switcher, connected to high voltage winding allowing
for voltage control in steps with unplugged transformer on HV
sides with a range of ±2 х 2,5 %

Altitude above the sea level – up to 1000 m.
Distribution oil hermetic transformers

Ambient air temperature:

- for moderate climate - from –45ОС to +40ОС;
Relative humidity of atmosphere – not exceeding 98% at +25 ОС.
Transformers are not suitable for work:
- in explosive and corrosive environment (containing gas, vaporizations, elevated concentration of dust
etc.);
- in vibratory operation and jolting.

Transformers construction
TOH-25-1250 rectangular shape transformer tanks are produced with corrugated walls without oil
conservator. For the purpose of lifting tank and transformer in the assembled condition hooks, located
underneath the upper tank frame are used. On a tank lid oil filler crane (plug) is located, on the bottom of the
tank oil drain cock is located, testing crane (plug), grounding bolt.
Active part comprises windings, high-voltage switch and magnet core, produced from high-quality
electrotechnical steel. Steel cutting is performed on «GEORG» line, magnet core is made according to the
«Step-Lap» scheme. Transformer windings are made of aluminum.

HV and LV bushings are located on the lid. HV and LV dismountable externally mounted bushings,
porcelain tube insulators.
For oil level control tank lid is equipped with float oil level indicator. For measuring temperature of top
layers of oil in the tank, transformer is equipped with thermometer.
Oil volume expansion, depending on transformer temperature, is compensated due to the changes of
pressure inside the tank, configuration and volume change of corrugated walls.
In hermetic transformers (type TOH) oil does not contact with air and does not age. They do not
require additional expenditures when put into operation.
In transformers with a power to 1250 kVA for length and side travel of transformers rollers are
installed.
