ROAD AND PAVING

FWBS : 32-3300

GENERAL

(1) Unless otherwise noted, the following measurement methods and units shall be applied to
the road and paving works which are defined in ANNEX-1.

(2) The quantities defined herein shall be “Net” based on JGC’s preliminary drawings and/or
specifications unless otherwise noted.

(3) The quantities shall be re-measured on the construction drawing prepared by the
Contractor and approved by JGC.

(4) The work progress is measured when the works are completed with satisfactory results of
inspection and accepted by responsible JGC’s/Owner’s supervisors.

This works shall be measured by area of the work projected on the drawings.
The area of manhole covers and other intrusions shall not be deducted where
such area is less than 1 m2. Slopes both longitudinally and transversally shall not
be considered. Overlapping of paved areas, precast concrete curbs and
L-gutter shall be deducted.

It shall be counted as one lot for all required items within the area.
